This life-size human spine model, accompanied by a male pelvis with symphysis, showcases various anatomical structures such as spinal nerves, intervertebral discs, paired arteria vertebralis, squama occipitalis, and individual vertebrae. The flexibility of this spine model enables the demonstration of posture and the movements of the spinal column.
The spine has been color-coded to serve as an effective medical teaching aid. The cervical vertebrae (C1-C7) are marked in purple, the thoracic vertebrae (T1-T12) in light blue, the lumbar spine (L1-L5) in green, and the sacrum and coccyx in orange. This model of the spine comes with a base for convenient display and includes a herniated disc at the L4/L5 level.
