This two-part model represents a natural cast of a male pelvic bone. It meticulously illustrates all anatomical features, including the hip bones, pubic symphysis, sacrum, coccyx, and the fifth lumbar vertebra along with its intervertebral disc. A median section has been made through the fifth lumbar vertebra, sacrum, and coccyx, allowing the pelvis, which is joined by practical magnets, to be easily separated into two halves. Consequently, part of the cauda equina is also visible within the vertebral canal. The model displays various pelvic ligaments, including the inguinal ligament, sacrotuberous ligament, sacrospinous ligament, anterior sacroiliac ligaments, iliolumbar ligament, anterior longitudinal ligament, supraspinous ligament, interosseous sacroiliac ligament, posterior sacroiliac ligament, lateral sacrococcygeal ligament, superficial and deep posterior sacrococcygeal ligaments, obturator membrane, and lacunar ligament.
