The Hemorrhage Control Arm Trainer is a cutting-edge simulator designed for realistic pre-hospital patient care training, focusing on hemorrhage control and management of traumatic upper extremity injuries. Ideal for Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and Civilian Casualty Care training, this trainer helps build confidence in managing severe bleeding through tourniquet application, wound packing, and hemostatic device use.
Realistic Anatomy and Wounds: The trainer replicates a full adult male arm with lifelike silicone skin, mimicking human tissue haptics. It includes bony landmarks and a palpable vessel damaged in a gunshot wound (GSW). Four distinct wound patterns are featured:
Deep laceration or stab wound
Large caliber gunshot wound (through and through)
Junctional wound in the shoulder area
Severed finger simulation
Hands-On Training: Trainees can practice:
Tourniquet application (“high and tight” or 5-8 cm above the wound)
Wound packing, including junctional wounds
XSTAT® hemostatic device application
Real-Time Feedback: Bleeding stops when the tourniquet is correctly applied, simulating mechanical occlusion of blood vessels.
Independent Bleeding Wounds: Each wound bleeds independently for a more dynamic training experience.
Durable and Portable: Built for field use with no need for batteries or external power. Easy to clean and comes with a carrying bag for transport.
Made with high-quality silicone for realistic skin and tissue simulation.
Sturdy construction designed for repetitive training at a low cost.
No external power or batteries required, ensuring reliability in various training environments.
The Hemorrhage Control Arm Trainer is the perfect tool for medical professionals, first responders, and military personnel to enhance their skills in managing traumatic bleeding effectively.
